Siemens Gamesa has been awarded the 75 MW and 90 MW projects at the Tan Thuan and Thai Hoa wind farms respectively, which will use SG 5.0-145 turbines, among the most powerful in the Vietnamese market. The Tan Thuan wind farm is the fourth nearshore wind farm to be installed by Siemens Gamesa in Vietnam and the largest such project to date in the country.

Thanks to its leadership and experience in the offshore segment, it has reconfigured the onshore turbines, adapting them to the marine environment while ensuring maximum reliability and the best cost of energy. When commissioned in mid-2021, the two wind farms will generate enough electricity to meet the demand of more than 350,000 Vietnamese and help alleviate the country's energy shortage. Delvalle's commitment to renewable energies has resulted in new systems that are both tailored to specific customer needs and environmentally friendly.

DELVALLE SOLUTION

After identifying and analysing the requirements for the project: maritime area, high temperatures, tropical rain, extreme heat, and humidity; together with the client, Delvalle designed an electrical enclosure in galvanized steel, painted in 100% polyester RAL 7035 from our Luxor Series as the perfect solution to house electrical equipment in maritime weather conditions.

Our enclosures and electrical boxes have been designed to protect the electrical components in maritime environments with humidity and adverse weather conditions (rain, storms, wind,...); guaranteeing watertight protection against dust and water, and resistance to corrosion in addition to a durability up to 5 times greater than any other reinforced polyester enclosure.
