The port of Fujairah handling terminal facility will be designed to transport and load materials such as gabbro, clinker and limestone and will consist of a truck receiving station with a capacity of 9.000 tons per hour, two 4,5 kilometers tubular conveyors and two ship loaders on a new 600 meter long quay that will allow two vessels of 120.000 tons each to be loaded simultaneously.

The two tubular belts, each capable of handling a throughput of 4.500 tons per hour, will cross the mountains to the town of Dibba, where they will be buried for 1,8 kilometers through a newly constructed tunnel under the town to reach the new seaport facilities to be created.

SOLUTION PROPOSED BY DELVALLE'S ENGINEERING TEAM

The scope of the project awarded to Delvalle included the development of the anti-corrosive enclosures for the port, an outdoor installation of enormous harshness since the desert climate can easily reach 55º Celsius for prolonged periods of time and this requires the contents to be fully insulated and with a cooling system for the electrical cabinets, to operate without suffering the high outdoor temperatures, and to prevent serious electrical failures from occurring.

Delvalle delivered turnkey Desert Series outdoor enclosures, consisting of a refrigerated enclosure with more reliable thermoelectric cooling systems with IP67 sealing, which required working hand in hand with the engineering team to find the best solution, in conditions of temperature  and corrosion with a guarantee of uninterrupted operation.
