The Opel factory in Figueruelas (Spain) has made an investment of 25 million euros in recent years to renovate the paint shop, which has required years of work. Specifically, the paint shop has been modernized with the installation of automatic painting robots, enabling the exterior painting process of car bodies to be carried out solely by robots in the primer, finishing, and repair booths.

PROPOSED SOLUTION BY THE ENGINEERING TEAM AT DELVALLE

The Opel factory subjects the vehicles they manufacture to several hours of different color baths, requiring a highly sealed and sophisticated technological system.

After evaluating the requirements and studying the location (paint dust and suspended dust particles), as specialists in customized enclosure manufacturing, we proposed a solution in the form of a series of horizontally-oriented enclosures with automatic top and front opening using gas springs from our Tribeca Series. These enclosures are made of AISI 304 stainless steel with an IP66 sealing, preventing the entry of dust, water or chemical agents.
