This is being built at present and will have the capacity to receive the biggest container ships in the world:

  • 7400 billion dollars invested
  • 26.5 sq Km site
  • Estimated 6 million containers a year by 2030

The first phase is expected to be finished in 2016 investing 7.4 billion dollars and the third and final phase is to finish in 2030.

It´s being built on a 26.5 sq km site where an 11 kilometer pier has already been constructed as well as a 15 kilometer containing wall. Over 6900 tons of explosives were used and once finished will deal annually with 6 million container which is four times its present capacity.

Delvalle are suppliers to the firms making this new port on Doha, capital of Qatar.

All the cabinets are specially designed to withstand extreme heat and any other marine or desert extremes. They are always kept sealed and rust proof both by desert dust and marine salinity prevalent in Doha.
