Luxembourg's national stadium, which will host football and rugby matches, is now in its final phase of construction. Following an investment of 80 million euros, the stadium will be able to accommodate up to 9,385 spectators in "covered seating"; also planned are VIP areas, a business club and sanitary facilities, including an infirmary.

Its 900m² business club will include the Executive Box, TV studios and rooms reserved for emergency services (police, security officers) and the basement will house the famous press interview area, changing rooms, team access and media workstations. The new national stadium will meet FIFA, UEFA and World Rugby standards which are the highest standards for sporting events.

SOLUTION PROPOSED BY THE ATEX DELVALLE ENGINEERING TEAM

To ensure an exceptional spectator experience, the project management team decided to set up a WIFI connection network that would give spectators the chance to experience augmented reality alongside the event itself. For this purpose, we commissioned the design and manufacture of 66 enclosures of our Geo Series stainless steel enclosure under the IP66 standard, given that its outdoor location demands the best and widest coverage. We can't wait for the inauguration in the first quarter of 2021 to try it out!
