The Hiep Thanh nearshore wind farm is located between one and three kilometres off the coast of Tra Vinh province (Vietnam). The 78 MW project will have 18 Siemens Gamesa 4.3 MW wind turbines with SG 5.0-145 turbines and is scheduled for commissioning at the end of 2021.

The Tra Vinh V1-2 project is the second of three wind farms near the Tra Vinh coast and Siemens Gamesa's fifth nearshore wind farm in Vietnam. With these projects, the Vietnamese government is accelerating the development of renewable energies, which will be essential for the post-Covid-19 economic recovery and for meeting long-term energy and climate targets.

Delvalle's commitment to renewable energies has resulted in new systems that are tailored to the special needs of customers and are environmentally friendly.

SOLUTION PROPOSED BY DELVALLE

After analysing the hostility of the location (maritime area with high corrosiveness and high temperatures with tropical rains), Delvalle developed together with the client, an electrical enclosure with galvanised steel visor painted in polyester from our Luxor Series IP66 certified, as the perfect enclosure to house electrical equipment in areas subjected to high salinity and pressure.

In addition, Siemens Gamesa has committed to provide maintenance services for a period of 10 years, so our completely hermetic enclosure design protects the electrical components in a maritime environment with adverse weather conditions; guaranteeing dust and water tightness, as well as high resistance with a durability up to 5 times higher than any enclosure made of reinforced polyester.
