A combined cycle power plant is an electricity generation facility that uses two heat cycles to generate electricity more efficiently. The first cycle uses natural gas or a similar fuel to produce electricity, and the residual heat is used to generate steam in a second cycle, which drives a steam turbine to generate additional electricity.

The CC Valladolid IV Power Plant is a 1061-megawatt (MW) gas-fired power plant project under construction in the state of Yucatán. It will enable Mexico to continue reducing the contribution of the most polluting power generation plants. This plant, along with the one in Mérida, will significantly boost the socioeconomic development of the Yucatán Peninsula and greatly enhance its energy needs coverage.

PROPOSED SOLUTION BY THE DELVALLE ENGINEERING TEAM

At Delvalle, we are proud to have been able to contribute our expertise and experience in electrical cabinets through our engineering department. For this purpose, we have incorporated our stainless steel cabinets from the Luxor Series, boxes from the Geo Series and the innovative instrument and control box from the Rambo Series, also known as the Interlocking Manifold Enclosure, specifically designed for "High Integrity Pressure Protection System" and "Safety Instrumented System."

Furthermore, during the project development, Glakor® brand NPT IP68 threaded cable glands were included for installation and subsequent assembly to provide cable routing and securing between compartments.
