The early morning of 16 November 2014 was devastating in Burgos, the Campofrío factory burnt down in a fire that lasted for two weeks. After this fateful setback, the owners decided to launch the Phoenix Project and two years later, following an investment of over 225 million euros, Nueva Bureba was reopened, covering an area of over 99,000 square metres; modern, efficient, practical, and technologically advanced facilities, which have become emblematic of the Campofrío corporation.

Technology is present throughout the factory; from robotic arms used to load pallets, to spiders that fill boxes with product blister packs at incredible speed. For this reason, the management wanted the latest innovations to be present in all parts of the factory, from reception to the loading docks, and this is where Delvalle was going to play a decisive role.

SOLUTION PROPOSED BY THE DELVALLE ENGINEERING TEAM

The truck and goods loading zone is a high-traffic area, where agility and operability are essential, which is why electrical cabinets are required for the automatic opening of truck loading docks. Nothing can be left to chance, which is why we offer our Fresh Luxor Series wall-mounted electrical enclosure and our Fresh Tribeca Series compact sloping roof enclosure as solutions. They are our ideal enclosures for the food industry, as they offer the maximum guarantee to prevent the accumulation of bacteria which are harmful to foodstuffs
