The new Doha or Hamad International Airport is a new air terminal located in the Qatari city of Doha, designed to replace and alleviate the traffic problems at the old Doha International Airport, located just a few kilometres away. Delvalle has developed cabinets for 90 passenger boarding bridges (PBB), including a VIP boarding bridge used exclusively by the Qatari Royal Family and high-ranking government officials in Doha, Qatar.

SOLUTION PROPOSED BY THE DELVALLE ENGINEERING TEAM

After analysing the requirements for the project (high concentrations of dust in the environment and numerous sandstorms); we opted to use a switch cabinet specifically designed for airports and developed special designs of the Tribeca Series and Luxor Series  in AISI 316 stainless steel with IP66 sealing (against dust, humidity and water jets), these being the ideal solution to house electrical equipment with a guarantee against corrosion and damage caused by sandstorms.

Airport projects require the highest quality in finishes and welding, to protect both passengers and passers-by at all times, with our equipment going unnoticed within the furnishings of the boarding bridges. Delvalle made these cabinets completely to measure; to offer both a great presence and safety to the people who use the airport, as well as maintenance personnel. This solution guarantees a long service life in conditions of high dust concentration, humidity, and corrosion, up to more than 30 years.
